The overarching goal of Your Sisters is connecting Western Women and the Women of East Africa. We give people from Western countries the opportunity to travel and volunteer in Tanzania as a way to empower the women and girls in our programs as well as experience unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime!

Volunteer in Tanzania

Volunteering with Your Sisters will be a life-changing experience. You will meet amazing people and experience Tanzania in the most authentic way. Most importantly, you will make a lasting difference in the lives of the women and girls who live and work with us.

We are very much looking forward to the launch of our volunteer program starting in 2014, which will offer both summer and winter travel and volunteer opportunities. Each program offers you the opportunity to meet our girls, women, and community, as well as experience unique sightseeing opportunities. The summer program will run from June 15th-August 15th, and the winter program has offerings both in December and January.

Travel in Tanzania 

Whether you are seeking adventure or looking for a relaxing get away, we can coordinate a memorable and lasting travel experience for you while in Tanzania. Your Sisters cares deeply about providing travelers with a rich view of East African culture and makes it a priority to hand select trained and knowledgeable guides. Visitors can come take part in our program for a short or long stint and can combine climbs on Kilimanjaro, safari, relaxing on the beaches of Zanzibar, and connecting to the unique people and places of this region.
